Michael Eaves, Franchisee, Dale Carnegie Training, Western Australia

I have known Ms Balma Nandwani for approximately four years. During that time, I have found her to be very intelligent, always well groomed, articulate and serious minded, in short, a very professional person. She has a strong work ethic and a high regard for delivering superior quality customer service. I see Ms Nandwani as being a real asset to any organization that has a strong customer focus.

SPM / Atty Sonya Verdeflor, Bacolod City Councillor
The Rotary Club of Bacolod-East, under District 3850 of the Rotary International with its 34 active members has served the community, particularly Bacolod City and Negros Occidental, Philippines for almost 34 years now.

It is composed of inspired individuals, who are professionals and leaders in their respective fields of endeavor and who voluntarily extend community service projects particularly on Education, Health and Sanitation, Anti-Bullying and Anti-Hazing Advocacies, support for Special Kids with Autism and Anti-Trafficking Awareness, Vocational Service and Maternal and Child Care.

This is the Rotary Year that Balma D. Nandwani joined the Rotary Club of Bacolod-East. In Rotary Year 2014-2015 of the Rotary Club of Bacolod-East started a massive awareness drive against hazing among young people and students in various school campuses in Bacolod City as well as anti-bullying campaigns and support programs.

These important projects of the Club took off through the intiative of its member BALMA D. NANDWANI whose passion for these advocacies stirred the cooperation and commitment of the rest of the club’s members.

Together, they started conducting lectures on Anti-Hazing and Anti-Bullying in schools and universities calling for the active involvement of the academe and the local government to address culture-forming abusive habits, making them aware that bullying does exist, and will continue to exist if not addressed immediately and aggressively.

Likewise, through the initiative of Balma, the Club was able to partner with a parent who had a son who died through hazing in their school fraternity’s life-threatening initiation rites. The testimony of the said father about what his son has suffered through hazing which resulted to his son’s death, a true to life experience, has left a big impact on the students which would ultimately guide them in their decisions as regards school fraternities that conduct hazing.

Balma Nandwani likewise spearheaded a special project of the club for kids with autism and down syndrome. She handled a Rotary-hosted talk of Brina Maxino, a child born with down syndrome but happy and successful, and her parents Winston and Alina Maxino on RAISING, RESPECTING and VALUING CHILDREN WITH INTELLECTUAL CHALLENGES.
The said Talk was covered by tri-media and well attended by parents, teachers, government officials, advocates for special children and Rotarians.

Noting that victims of bullying are not only among children, special children especially, but likewise among professionals / employees in their work places, Balma Nandwani as a trainer of YOUNG CEO, conducted a lecture-training for frontliners in the government service in Bacolod City, known as Civility in the Workplace and Business Ethics.

Still a project of the Rotary Club of Bacolod-East, the said training for around 50 city government officers and employees was very successful with so many positive comments and feedbacks from the attendees/trainees.

They appreciated very much the lecture and training from Balma Nandwani who has positively encouraged them to speak up and express/manifest their sentiments and experiences in their workplaces.

Some of them spoke up that they were bullied by some of their colleagues and bosses in their offices and they suggested that the same training be conducted to their superiors as well. They were thankful to Balma for the business etiquette that she gave for their benefit and good practice in the workplace.

Balma Nandwani likewise has generously contributed her editing and lay-outing skills and techniques for the Club’s official weekly news bulletin the SIDLANGAN. She introduced new innovations in the contents of the said weekly bulletin and encouraging the active involvement and participation of the club’s members in contributing articles, good action photos, suggestion pages, the correct lay-outing and testimonials.

For this innovations and improved Sidlangan, the Club was awarded the Best in Club Bulletin by District 3850.

The very laudable projects aforestated as initiated and spearheaded by BALMA NANDWANI all contributed for the Rotary Club of Bacolod-East being awarded as the Most Outstanding Club (Medium Category) of the entire District 3850, a first for the Rotary Club of Bacolod-East.

Andre De Hertogh, Engineer, Belgian National
My son Adrian at 13 years old was already quite intelligent. He plays competitive tennis and is very interested in cars and planes.

I’m an engineer and very surprised that at his age he knows all the technical details through his own efforts.  His problem is not being good in communicating and other subjects he is not interested in. His communication was both weak and fumbling.

We contacted Ms Balma Nandwani to do a one on one coaching on my son. She taught him advanced communication strategies that she also teaches to business executives. It took her 10 hours to change the way he communicates. She applied Neuro Linguistic Programming strategies to correct his recall of Information.

His being able to communicate like a young professional and his ability to remember the correct information has made a huge difference in both his personal and school life.

Because of the training he now speaks both with confidence and maturity.

Leah Zveglich, Managing Partner Aster Family Advisors
Balma Nandwani worked for DOOR International from January 2011 – June 2012 as a trainer and coach and continued there after as an independent contract based on projects. She has strong work ethics, and a perfectionist mindset. She is meticulous in her preparation, far more than the typical preparation that average trainiers do. She enjoys learning new topics and is passionate about coaching. She is excellent with any communication related topics. I enjoyed working with her and learned a lot from her as well. I highly recommend her as a trainer / consultant / coach.

Dr. Nena Nolido, Past Gov., SIPR; Past Speaker, House of Delegates, Phil. Dental Asso.
Balma is a woman of today; focused, determined, driven in her pursuit to bring into fruition her heart’s desires. Her dream of uncovering her full potentials in the area of communication has been achieved.

As a person, Balma is compassionate, generous, and sensitive to the plight of those who have less in life and to the disadvantaged sector of society. She has manifested these through her all-out support to Balay Pasilungan, a temporary shelter for women and girls who are victims of sexual abuse and domestic violence, which is acknowledged by the Soroptimist International of Bacolod, an all-women international organization.

Balma is highly professional in handling her role and responsibilities as an officer and member of an organization, demonstrating dependability, efficiency and integrity. She is an empowered woman whose commitment is to teach, train, inspire and motivate individuals desiring to be a cut above the rest.

Manuel Guillermo, President, KSearch Asia Consulting, Inc.

I gladly recommend Ms Balma Nandwani as a Performance Consultant. Our company has benefit immensely from the training that she provided our people, particularly in the way they have transformed in their commitment levels, behaviors and actual performance on their jobs.

Karmeli Love Kintanar, VP, Business Services

Balma’s coaching sessions in the firm have always been tailor fit to a T. She takes time to understand each person who goes through her coaching and customizes different approaches to adapt to each person’s level and needs. We always come out feeling that we had a one-on-one session with her. What is amazing is how quick we see the results of her efforts!

Ed Dames, Chairman and CEO, DTC Promos, Inc.
Balma was my staff at Sacobia Development Authority/MHS an attached agency under the Office of the President. She was very smart, diligent and conscientious member of our Information Division who never missed a deadline, always eager for a new assignment and was full of great ideas! I’ve monitored her career trajectory and is very proud of how she has evolved into one of the country’s best executive development trainers. Balma is undoubtedly one of the bright stars from our batch at the Silliman University College of Mass Communication.
Angela C. Dimalanta, Supervising Legislative Staff Officer, House of Rep.
I have been so  blessed  to have Balma as a friend and as a co-worker. Professional, committed, with boundless infectious enthusiasm — that was how it was when I worked with Balma in the Information Department of Sacobia Development Authority in MHS (Ministry of Human Settlements).  Her good judgement and her determination, as well as being  team player endeared her to all of us.

As a friend, she is dependable, ever ready to lend support, and is a good listener. Her self confidence and her ability to see the humor in life is her trademark.
